St. James Academy and Vocational Training: – A new course in
dress making with the syllabus and material provided from UK has
started. Derek D’monte who taught in a fashion training college in
London will take online classes. A shortened eldercare training
programme will start in May.

Communication: – We have reviewed our communication unit.
Andrew Lawrence is responsible for our websites. The school will have
its own website as there is much interest from its alumi many who were
the first to complete a high school in their family, have gone on to further
studies and have done well. Their stories need to be told. They are also
keen to maintain connections with the school.

Vocational training continues with Tailoring with one added location in New Lingarajapuram. 6 younger men will be trained and obtain licences as light motor vehicle (car) drivers. The training starts first week of May. We hope the next group will be young women, Elder Care training will start in the 3rd week of May. New courses in Basic Computing, learning Python language, and basic coding will be offered in May and June.
